Adders can be more than just a pain in the leg
Often found in sandy dunes, moorland, woodland and hillside areas; dogs are intruiged by their diamond pattern appearance and can leave your pet with a nasty venomous bite wound.
Your dog may show signs of pain, vomit, salivation, become dehydrated, drowsy or restless.
There may be swelling and bruising to the affected area and tremors and convulsions may result. If you suspect an adder bite, get in touch with us ASAP.
